Stats
Genetics: Dirty Mimosa ‘White Cap Cut’ x Platinum Kush Breath Remix
Filial Generation: F1 / it’s complicated – they share some OGKB ancestry, but we don’t have a good term for the relationship.
Flowering Time: 56-63 Days
Cannabis Type: Feminized Photoperiod
Indica/Sativa: Hybrid
Yield: Medium/high
Phenotypic Variation: Moderate

Terpene Profile
Expect grape candy terps with pine and pepper undertones. Caryophyllene, limonene, and humulene are dominant, with pinene close behind.
Effect
A strong but well-rounded daytime high that can become more sedative with excessive use.
Plant Morphology

Expect apical dominant growth across most plants, with up to 1.5x stretch in flower, while an outlier pheno is much more short and squat. Medium internodal spacing allows for good airflow. Most phenos have green leaves and buds, while a small amount may express purple leaves later in flower, along with purple speckling in the calyxes. Expect extreme frosty sugar to cover the impressively-sized buds with a high calyx to leaf ratio.

Notes from the Growers

Platinum Mimosa has insane sugar and quality across the board. The Dirty Mimosa ‘White Cap Cut’ shines through in the appearance of this strain, with buds covered with fuzzy white blankets of sugar. The Platinum Kush Breath Remix (In House Genetics) helps to reign in the mind-racing, stimulant effects of the Dirty Mimosa to make for a very comfortable and full-bodied high.

This was a rewarding cross to grow. The quality was insane across the board, and we think the high trichome content makes Platinum Mimosa a great contender for extracts. The smell and flavor are like sweet, piquant candy, and the smoke expands your lungs like an ultimate test of respiratory strength. With both of these strains proving their worth in the outdoor gardens of Maine, we have high (get it?) hopes for Platinum Mimosa this sun-grown season.
