Bloody Mary Alpha Series

Plant Morphology

Bloody Mary is apical dominant in both veg and bloom, with LST recommended. The majority of plants were broad-leafed, with a minority having more slender sativa type leaves. Bud formation varies across phenos, some with intense stacking fat colas, and others with more spaced out “boutique” buds. High trichome accumulation was present in all plants. Over half of the plants showed significant purpling in the leaves and calyxes by the end of flower, while the rest did not.

Terpenes

There was a mix of terpenes across phenos, with most having floral, tropical fruit terps and notes of nail polish remover. Less common but still notable were phenos with a more rotten, umami/savory profile. Pinene was ultra-dominant, followed by myrcene. Limonene and caryophyllene battled for third place across phenos.

Effect

Exercise caution with this super potent, brain scooping changeling. Bloody Mary gives both a cerebral high from the Maui True Blood and a relaxing body high from the Dirty Sangria. Depending on your energy level and consumption, Bloody Mary can either leave you spinning and goofy, or put right to sleep.

Notes from the Grower(s): There was a lot of diversity in the Bloody Mary population, but everything was super great quality. Bud shape varied from stacked spears to dense golf balls, all extremely sugary and stinky. Dirty Sangria dominated in the terpenes department, along with adding in purples and maroons in over half of the population. The Maui True Blood came in clutch adding weight to the plant and energy to the user. This cross also finished up super quickly, with our plants being harvested by day 52.
